Eligibility Criteria for BPSC Teacher Recruitment 2023
One Out of the Following For Middle School Teachers (Classes 6 to 8)
- Bachelor’s degree + 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 50% marks + a BEd degree
- Bachelor’s degree with 45% marks + BEd degree (NCTE Norms)
- Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks + BA/BEd/BSc Ed degree
- Master’s degree with 55% marks + 3-Year BEd – MEd Course.
One Out of the Following For Secondary School Teachers (Class 9-10)
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks + BEd degree
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 45% Marks (as per 2002 Norms) + BEd degree
- 4-Year degree in BAEd/BScEd
- Qualified the STET Paper I exam.
One Out of the Following For Secondary School Teachers (Class 9-10) with a Special Focus
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks + BEd degree
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 45% Marks (as per 2002 Norms) + BEd degree
- 4-Year degree in BAEd/BScEd
- Qualified the STET Paper I Exam (subject-wise).
One Out of the Following For Senior Secondary School Teachers (Class 11-12)
- Master’s degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks + BEd degree
- Master’s degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 45% marks (as per 2002 Norms) + BEd degree
- Master’s degree in the relevant subject + a 4-year degree in BAEd/BScEd
- Master’s degree with 55% marks + BEd – MEd 3-year degree.
- Passed the STET Paper II Exam.

- For Primary Teachers, the candidate should not be younger than 18 Years
