Raipur Railway Apprentice Notification 2024 || Eligibility
Educational Qualification
Successful completion of Matriculation (Matriculate or 10th grade in 10+2 examination system) from a recognized Board with a minimum of 50% marks in total (excluding additional subjects) and possession of an ITI Pass certificate (in the relevant trade for Apprenticeship) issued by the NCVT/SCVT.
Age Criteria
(i) Applicants must have attained the age of 15 years and must not exceed 24 years as of 01.07.2023. The age recorded in the Matriculation certificate or Birth certificate will be considered solely for this purpose.
(ii) Relaxation of the upper age limit by 05 years is applicable for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates.
(iii) Additionally, ex-servicemen are eligible for a further relaxation of 10 years, up to the duration of their service in the Defence Forces plus an additional 03 years, provided they have served continuously for at least 06 months, except for those ex-servicemen who have already transitioned to Government Service on the Civil side after availing the status of Ex-servicemen for their engagement.
Raipur Railway Apprentice Notification 2024 || Selection Procedure
The selection process will be based on a merit list prepared (Trade-wise) for all candidates applying under the respective trades. The merit list for each trade will be compiled based on the percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation, with a minimum requirement of 50% (aggregate) marks. The calculation of the matriculation percentage will consider the marks obtained by candidates in all subjects, rather than any specific subject or group of subjects.
