- Applicants must have obtained a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in their LLB Degree, whether it is a three-year professional program after graduation or a five-year program after completing 10 plus 2.
- In addition to the LLB qualification, candidates applying for courses starting in a particular year must have appeared for CLAT PG (Common Law Admission Test for Postgraduate), including those who are LLM qualified and LLM appearing.
- Furthermore, candidates should be eligible for registration as an advocate with the Bar Council of India/State. The LLB Degree should be from a College/University recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Indian Army JAG Entry Scheme 33rd Course Selection Process
The selection process for the Indian Army JAG (Judge Advocate General) Entry Scheme 33rd Course typically involves several stages to identify qualified candidates for the program. While specific details may vary, the general selection process is as follows:
- After shortlisting of applications, candidates will receive email notifications regarding the allocation of their Centre.
- Once the Selection Centre is allotted, candidates are required to log in to the website and choose their Service Selection Board (SSB) dates. These dates are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis initially.
- SSB sessions are conducted only for shortlisted eligible candidates at Selection Centres located in Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bangalore (Karnataka), and Jalandhar (PB).

- To apply, visit the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Click on ‘Officer Entry Appln/Login’ and then select ‘Registration.’ If you’re already registered on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, there’s no need to register again.
- After registration, click on ‘Apply Online’ under Dashboard. A page titled ‘Officers Selection – Eligibility’ will open. Click ‘Apply’ next to Short Service Commission JAG Entry Course.
- You’ll then see an ‘Application Form’ page. Read the instructions carefully and click ‘Continue’ to fill in your details under various sections, such as Personal information, Communication details, Education details, and details of previous SSB. Remember to click ‘Save & Continue’ before moving to the next segment.
- Once you’ve filled in all the details, you’ll reach a page titled ‘Summary of your information.’ Here, you can check and edit your entries. After confirming that all details are correct, click on ‘Submit.’ Remember to click ‘Submit’ each time you open the application to edit any details.
- After the final closure of the online application on the last day, wait for 30 minutes and then take out two copies of your application, which will have your Roll Number.
